the cinematic masterpiece, I realised how much of a rip-off/tribute (depending on your viewpoint) GTA: VC was of it. The mansion, plot similarities, the settings (like the Malibu) and pretty much everything. You can bet your left nut thats where the developers got the chainsaw idea from.

I must admit I was shocked at how much Vice City borrowed from Scarface. I played VC first so when I got round to watching Scarface, I spent the entire film going "that looks like Tommy's house" or "there's a bloody mess in a shower in Vice City as well".
It was immediately obvious that Rockstar had taken a lot of their inspiration from Scarface, perhaps a little too much.
Still the best movie ever and one of the best games ever though.

Yeah, no originality at all. To be honest, before I saw this film I thought VC was poor but this has made me think even worse of it.
Lol...I've been saying the exact same thing since VC came out. Still a great game but in the end it's a bit of a copy :/
