Come on that's funny lol? Well maybe it was all in the delivery and you really needed to see it but you should at least smile when reading that. Go on, watch ANGEL! It's great really.

Sigh....Here we go. When Wes rescued Angel, Angel discovered Cordy was apparently happy in her higher dimension, but she helped him when they went to LV to get Lorne, so apparently the PTB returned her without any memory. Then a spell from Lorne got it back, but we discover later in the season that one of the Powers had got bored with watching and taken over Cordy's mind, hence rain of fire, the Beast, Angelus, CordyConnor e.t.c. That's the cliffnotes version.

She didnt lose her power as it wasnt Cordy who came back.
