Last night, at work, I had to open this box, and i sliced my thumb on the cardboard. I wanted to cry, because i'm a big baby, but i never, i had to be strong!

Anyway, this morning it's really really sore!

Can i sue?

Just train yourself into a super ninja and rip their hearts out with a litter-picker.

I know a place you can stick that thumb that will take away the pain and make me feel good.

If your thumb's as fat as your ass, I'm surprised you felt it!

We got about 3 girls working on the shop floor and about 3 boys working on tills.

It's true that not many girls work in shop floor, don't know why that is, i think i'd prefer to do that except they get paid less than i do!

That's nice of you Darling looking after the old people. At our Safeway it's either an old lady or an attractive girl cashier. The old women seem to talk to everyone the girls are usually in silent. I don't think I've ever seen a girl on the shop floor replenishing the shelves. I suppose one of the worse things is to get a real nasty customer, or someone who doesnt have enough money to buy everything no wait even worse, serving people you know the worst case would be old school teachers.

Working in a supermarket is okay but I would never in a million years want to work in a fast food place like McDonalds. >_< I always try to get servered by the pretty girls, dont know why they would want to work there.

I don't mind it at times. It does get frustrating because we HAVE to talk to customers or else we get in trouble, and we get no bonus. But some customers, especially in the evenings, just wanna do their shopping and get on with it rather than having a pointless chat with me, and to be honest after being at college all day i'd rather not talk to them.

On the other hand you get some really nice customers who like to talk to you. They ask what time you started working, and a lot take interest in the fact that i'm still at college.

Then during the day you get the old people who come out for their mini loaf of bread, half pint of milk, 1 carrot, 1 potato (you get the picture) and they just want someone to talk to and i feel it's my duty to talk to them!

there were loads of fine till girls while I was there, all at college or Uni etc. and if I wasn't such a spineless stoner at the time, I'd of bedded the lot of em. what can I say?

yeah, you did have a lot of young girls coming into the shop, I used to impress them with the efficiency with which I could collapse a box, or the speed with which I could face up the heinz beans display.

I was a regular cash and carry cassanova ...

I can't remember which supermarket has the worst plastic bags, they tear so easily it's pathetic. Our Tescos is good, they do try their best to keep lines down but you don't get the treatment they see to boast on the adverts with Basil Fawlty's wife
