Two new real items were added to the catalogue yesterday but both have now sold out.
Firstly, a Mario Gamecube controller for 5000 stars and secondly a Zelda GBA SP with Minish Cap and a T-shirt for a massive 15000 stars.*
Both pretty crappy but at least Nintendo are putting some effort into the catalogue and hopefully there will be more/better items in the future.
*Based on information read in the forums on the Nintendo site, not actually seen with my own eyes, therefore may not be 100% accurate.

These things sell out years before anyone hears about them. Would have been cool to get a Mario controller.
I reckon they'll bring the controller back because there were loads of people on the Nintendo site moaning about it so they may feel obliged to. I don't know how people manage to get up to 15000 stars but I know that there is actually somebody with over 42000 stars, which is madness.
If I'd got a UK DS I wouldn't be far off 10,000. I've never got anything from Stars Catalogue. I wish I could, though.

And you were promised it early, with a t-shirt.
Neither sound like they'd be crappy for anyone even remotely interested in Nintendo games.
i could not see any updates on the stars catalogue
and i have 8760 stars
