Ive herd that wireless networks (802.11b and 802.11g) can interfere with wireless home phones, does anyone know if this is true? Thanks
Ah yes, it may be analogue wireless that is affected. My home phone is DECT (digital) and I haven't had any problems with it.

I have a wireless home phone and use 802.11g wireless LAN for my laptop. I have never had any interference on both ends - phone quality has not deteriorated and my net connections/file transfers have not slowed down.
It might be different with 802.11b, but I wouldn't know - I haven't used the 'b' frequency yet.

Most cards let you change the channel, so you can set it to a different frequency that your phones.
I have both in my house. I think there is some noticeable inteference but it doesn't affect the phones, ie there's no crackling or whatever. I think it probably does impact on transfer speed. Sharing a broadband connection is fine but I get slow file transfers - but I have wireless phones, really thick walls and b rather than g, so it's hard to seperate one factor from another.
Basically if you're looking to share a net connection then don't let this put you off.
