JR: We are now awaiting the arrival of the Undertaker. Finally, the dead man is back.

*Kurt Angles music plays*
*The crowd are chanting ‘you suck’*

King: Why do these people always disrespect this guy?

Kurt Angle goes for a Microphone.

Kurt: Well, it looks like Undertaker is not here so I suppose I win by default.

*The lights go dim*
GONG!

King: JR look!
JR: It’s the Undertaker! He’s back and ready to fight!
King: It looks like Kurt has just wet himself!
JR: Smoke has filled this arena. This is an eerie feeling as the dead man makes his way down the ramp. Wait! What’s Kurt doing?
King: He must have a death wish JR!

Kurt rushes up to the Undertaker

JR: Angle now, with those right hands pummelling the Undertaker (Cong Man).
Viscous shots to the back. Oh, wait! The Undertaker has that huge hand gripped around Angle’s throat. The Choke Slam on the steel ramp. Oh my God that could be it right there.
King: The match hasn’t even started yet JR!
JR: Well that may be, but The Undertaker now, is dragging the remains of what is left of the Olympic Gold medallist, Kurt Angle to the ring.

Kurt Angle is rolled into the middle of the ring. The Undertaker goes for the pin

Aww, and Kurt Angle, just able to kick out. How did he kick out of that?
The Undertaker, Irish whipping Kurt Angle into the turnbuckle. Undertaker running up at him, with a hard clothesline. Angle seems a little dazed now. Undertaker now running into the ropes on the other side of the ring and hitting Angle hard with a flying shoulder block.
King: How is Angle still standing JR?

JR: Since Angle run up to the Undertaker, he has not been able to create any offence for himself. The Deadman now, pulling Angle’s body to the ring apron. The Undertaker exits the ring and a huge elbow to the neck of the Gold Medallist.
And you have got to know what’s next King. This is vintage Undertaker offence. Undertakers on the apron... and a large, unforgiving leg drop. Taker shows no mercy against his opposition. The Deadman grabs Angle and puts him on his shoulders, runs toward the ring post and Angle counters, pushing Takers body and skull straight in to the metal post. Perhaps Angle is now building some momentum.

King: Ugghhh!

JR: The Undertaker is now bleeding from the head. How fast did the Undertaker go into that ring post, to bust him open?

Angle: WOOOO!

JR: Angle, now toying with the Undertaker with blow after blow to the wound that is now bleeding profusely. Angle sliding in and out of the ring to restart the ten count.
Kurt, now locking his hands tightly round the back of the Undertaker and a Belly to belly suplex on the outside of the ring! We haven’t seen anything like that in ages.
Wait! The sit up! The Undertaker just sat up. How could that be humanly possible?

King: He ain’t human!

JR: The fear of Satan has filled Kurt Angle' face. He must be saying to himself, if that doesn't get the job done, what will? The Undertaker now, with a vicious kick to the mid section.

King: They are right in front of our table JR!

JR: King, I think we better get out of here. Taker has Angle between his legs. It could be a last ride! Oh my god, Kurt Angle counters and back tosses Taker through our table and all the way to hell.

The crowd chant Holy S***

JR: A small smirk has grown on Angles face.
King: Why hasn’t the referee stopped this match?
JR: Taker is pouring with blood. His body is being racked with pain, and Kurt Angle throws the tortured Undertaker back into the ring. He goes for the pin.

1...

And a kick out. Just barley, Taker is able to kick out with the last few breaths left in him. I thought that it was it there King, and Angle cannot believe it.
The straps come down on Kurt Angle and locks in the Ankle lock. Undertaker is screaming in pain.

King: He’s gonna tap JR! I know it!

JR: You should here the screams of pain coming from the Undertaker. Kurt is going to break the Ankle of the dead man.

King: Wait! Who’s that JR?

JR: Its Kane! Kane is at the top of the ramp, staring at Angle. Angle releases the Ankle lock. He’s shouting at Kane. What has the big red machine got to do with Angle?

King: Are you thinking what I’m thinking JR?

JR: What are you suggesting? That the...

King: I ain’t suggesting anything. Look at that!

JR: Kane is going back to the locker room and Undertaker is stalking Kurt Angle.

King: Look behind you Kurt

JR: Kurt turns around. The Undertaker lifts Angle onto his shoulder. King, will it be, yes it will, the tombstone piledriver delivered to our Olympic gold medallist.

DING! DING! DING!

JR: That’s it. Its over. The Undertaker has made a triumphant return to SRW only to come back and beat Angle in this slobber knocker of a match. Aw King, look at those eyes. Nevertheless, you have to wonder what Kane had to do with all of this. He came out and stared down Kurt Angle. We have got to see what will happen next time on SRW

That was quite good for your first match. It was a bit different seeing the match from JR and King's perspective. :D

Hey that was pretty good, some nice hardcore moments interspersed (love that word :D) with some deceint in-ring action.

Heed everyone's advice and you'll do fine - as they say, some commentary is fine but match description should take the primary role. Read some of other matches this week and others in the SRW Wrestling topic. I mean, here's a very basic example paragraph I might've used for this match:

"The Undertaker continues to batter Kurt Angle with constant right and left hands, forcing him back into the corner. Angle managed to duck one though and twists the tables, throwing some right hands of his own! He whips Taker into the corner and follows it up with a clothesline. Undertaker staggers out of the corner and Kurt Angle lines him up, hooking the arm over his shoulder and delivering a textbook overhead suplex!"

So as you can see in a way, we are the commentators. But we're good. :D

Anyway, nicely done, feel free to write promos for your own characters.

Yeah, pretty good first match but, of course, we all learn from what we do. :)

It's a little hard to describe matches. The way I see writing matches is that you are the only one watching the matches and the only way people can get an idea of what is happening is by the way you describe it. It's like you are a commentator of a radio show.

Another good idea is visualising what you want to see in the ring. Make a match plan or get what you want to see in your mind so you can type out what you want.

If you feel uncomfortable about the matches you are writing, just email it to someone. I know there are a few people who wouldn't mind checking over it all.

It's a bit easier when you've got a feud to deal with because you can be very creative with the direction it takes.

Anyway, boo, Kurt Angle lost! :D

Hhhhmm, yeah I know what you mean. Well, try using a dictionary or on Word you have the thesaurus feature which tells you different ways of saying words so you don't write the same word all the time.

Will do. You see, I found it hard to make it exciting without taking on the roles of JR and the King. I couldn't add describing words to make it sound better.

Hhhmm, I think you misunderstood how to write the match...we (the writers) don't take on the roles of JR and King, we're commentators ourselves...in that match, JR and King were saying what was happening...unless you meant to do it like that then ok, try to read a couple of previous matches in the SRW Wrestling topic.

That was quite good for a first match.

You could improve it a little bit by having bigger move in capitals and ending in exclamation marks. Also a little less comentary and a bit more action.

As you go along your matches will get a little bit longer (as this one was long, but could have been longer) and they will get a lot better.

On the whole for a first match that was decent.

Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
Brilliant service.
