My god they are so fragile and they cost almost a fortune!
And when you use them to play footie... you seem to damage the shirt even more.

I/m sure these 50K a week footballers aint worried about a £40 shirt!

My collection of football shirts is quite large now. Although i'd prefer to be larger. Havnt bought one in a while actually. Last one was the Italy home Kappa one which i got becasue it was reduced to £15. I love these tight fit Kappa shirts compared to normal baggy things.

I have 4 man utd shirts(2 Nike, 2 Umbro), 2 italy shirts (Kappa and Puma), 5 argentina shirts(2 Reebok,2 adidas and one no brand 80s style), 1 roma(kappa) and 1 inter(nike).

The roma shirt is my fave. Its last seasons away black shirt with Totti 10 on the back in orange to go with the orange kappa trim.

So does putting it around the top of your chest. Used to do it all the time for my basketball games, until all the footballers started copying me :-D

Plus all that Vicks Vieria and co slap all over their shirt can't really help them much.

That's true. Nylon always gets ripped up. And bloodstains don't come out eiher, which is kind of inconvenient when you have spent a good deal of cash on a shirt.

Funnily enough, when Gazza was at Everton, he used up his season's allocation of shirts about half way through the term, because everyone wanted to swap shirts with him. He may have been getting fat and unenergetic, but was still very popular.
