weird, when me and some friends were in the foyer leaving the concert we saw the lead singer of the Wildhearts, they weren't supporting so I guess they're friends.

also saw Frank Skinner, I shouted out 'Baddiel is betterrrrrrrr' because I'm so witty but I don't think he heard me.

I absolutely love The Darkness. I just went to see them at their 1st U.S. concert ever in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. It was so kick ass. There also supposed to come back in September and I wouldn't miss it for the life of me. My fiancée, little brother and my little brothers’ friends all got to meet The Wildhearts, which opened for The Darkness. I unfortunately did not get to meet them because I was waiting in the car for everyone. Man was I angry that they got to meet them and I didn't. Even though I’m angry about it I’m happy for them. One of my little brothers’ friends got to kiss JC from The Wildhearts. Luck Girl! All of them also got to take a picture with The Wildhearts. Now I wish I wouldn't have waited in the car. We also were going to stay to try to meet The Darkness, but we would have had to wait out side their bus for 4 hours in the coldest weather ever. Now I wish we would have. A lot of cool things happened at the concert. If any one wants to know more about it, just get back to me. In closing I would do anything to meet The Darkness. I love them more then anything in the world with exception to my fiancée.

Slipknot are just shouty crap, Muse aren't.

I like Muse and the Darkness, so you've kinda dug yourself into a hole there!

The Darkness are a pretty good band, so long as you dont take them seriously. btw i recently heard that Justin sung that old Ikea advert (the 'schlomp' ad)!!

But does the band say they're ironic or do thier fanbase? I'm not hugely fussed either way, watching them live for about half an hour is all The Darkness I need in one lifetime.

However, it's quite telling that a band like that need to say they're all 'ironic' to be considered cool. There is far too much cool in music.

I dig the Darkness.
