God damn.
Why the hell haven't I listened to any of their stuff before? This is genius.

Well, maybe the Knebworth version has more energy, but the studio track is one of the most energetic Zep songs anyway. The solo is a bit off for me, just loses track of the style of the song.

And the TSRTS version of Stairway is brilliant, but slightly spoiled by some of Plant's innane utterances. With that trousers that tight, you can't really blame him though.

The solo from the Knebworth version of Achilles better than the studio version? No way! The studio solo is second only to Stairway, and that's final.

The Knebworth has so much more energy than the studio version, in whole, not just the solo. And it has Page making some funny faces too.

The best version of Stairway I've found is on The Song Remains The Same, listening to that it just fills it full of meaning and beauty again, even after it's been worn out listening to the studio track.

What can I say, I'm a live music hhooar.

EDIT - Bloody tabs!

I love that scene. And that song. Both songs, in fact.

I've only just discovered the Zep, so I'm not familiar with their songs.
When I hear it, I'll probably recognise it or something.

ALS is brilliant, one of my favourites at the moment.

'Hmmm, where's the clerk? I know! I'll play the "may I help you?" riff!'

I don't think the solo in Stairway is all that great. I mean, it is good, but I've heard better.

Everyone's heard it, not everyone is familiar with it.
