Hey, I have some files on my PC I'd like only me to be able to view and amend but I don't know how to password protect them if that's possible. I have Windows XP as my operating system but we only have one family account that we all log onto with the same password. I have a file that I want to keep password protected though in that account and I have also made a back up of that file on floppy disc which I would also like to password protect some how. If anyone knows how this can be achieved then I would much appreciate the help. Thanks.
Put all these files into a compressed folder and password protect them. Not the best way but the simplest and the easiest. Same for the floppy.
Do you have a CD Writer? If so then store the files on a CD and use the DirectCD thing to just update the files that way.
