The answers to all of these questions are debateable. But from experience I can tell you that Sega's little White Box is a truly amazing bit of hardware (it will also be joined by a black 'Sports' console later on this year). The Dreamcast has it all: Great games - and I mean absolutely Original and Graphically amazing - Just play Soul Calibur, Ecco the Dolphin or Residenyt Evil Code: Veronica, Crazy Taxi... The list goes on and on.
The Dreamcast also has a built in modem for internet use (as if you didn't already know..) and although it ISN'T as fast as it might have been it is Upgradable and serves it's purpose well. There's also another small fact that every Dreamcast you buy comes with a free game - ChuChu Rocket - which is available online when you visit Dreamarena. That really is a frantic but marvellous game which enables you to batle it out against gamers in Germany, France, Spain & Italy - it's a great feeling to play them, yet alone beat them!
And so it's clear to see, from my eyes, and a growing number of people's, that the Future has come early, it's here NOW and will only set you back £150 and you get a free game with it!!!
Just experience Dreamcast to appreciate what an utterly superb console it really is. (It also has top quality CD sound and doubles up as a CD player!)
So, do you really want to wait till after Yule Time (Christmas) to get a 'sequel' which has lost it's way (I'm on about the PS2) as you'll not be able to pre-order the pre-order placing for much longer, (the PS2's are running out as I type), you don't have to wait or fork out over £300 for this. Just £150. That's all it'll cost you.
