Yes, most people in this movie tried to duck when the Headless Horseman came to chop off their heads. Unfortunately, it never worked.
Sleepy Hollow is set in 1799 in a tiny village called Sleepy Hollow. Lately, some of their residents have had their heads chopped off by an unknown someone/thing. So along comes Johnny Depp, who plays a detective, who loves to use science to solve crimes.
He has many scientific instruments he likes to use, which he invented himself. Most of the residents seem to think a 'headless horseman' is doing the dirty deeds, but the detective thinks otherwise. I'd better not say any more about the plot, as it will ruin it for you!
Anyway, there are quite a few main characters which you need to watch, and you need to pay attention to each scene. The action scenes are nice and short, and it really does make the movie quite scary and tense.
There's not as much gore in this movie as you'd expect, but when there is gore, there's a lot of it. It looks ver realistic when the heads get chopped off, and I personally found it quite funny, as the heads swivel on their necks before they fall off!!
There are some nice little touches as well, especially the occasional comedy line, which really top this movie off.
The acting is excellent, and Johnny Depp really shines in this movie as the interesting detective.
I definitely recommed anyone to go and see this movie, but remember, it's a 15 rating.
