Goal. Definitely.

The ball was clearly out of Brad's hands.

But who else would try such a thing?
This, my friends, is why in my opinion, the great Thierry is the best in the world. On creativity alone.

The man is a genius.

I see V Nistelrooy as egocentrical...

Henry? Egocentric?

Maybe in some weird parallel universe.

If Bradeh was stupid enough to take a drop kick that close to Henry, then the goal should stand.

I think if it was Van Nistelrooy that did this, many of you would have a different opinion on the matter. But then, he's not as quick-minded, and therefore wouldn't even have attempted it.

Heh. The ball was in mid-air, and therefore it was not in the keeper's possession, and therefore Henry had every right to take the ball away from him, and therefore the goal should have stood.

How exactly did the referee get it wrong?!

You ARE the offspring of one Arséne Wenger! :@

While he is still in the process of taking the kick, the ball is in the possesion of the goalkeeper. Until he releases it (from his the strike of his foot), it's still his boot. If he kicks it into Henry, and then it hits the back of the net, it's a goal.

However, he didn't. Infact, because of the egocentric Frenchman, he didn't even get to strike the ball while it was still in his possesion - and, therefore, the "goal", rightfully, did not stand.

Shhhh, at first I thought I did, but then I saw Henry's again and saw that the goalie had actually released the ball. With mine, he had it in one hand.

Congratulations to him, as much as I dispise him, it was a moment of sheer brilliance.

You didn't, though. You took the ball out of the keeper's hands, if I remember the topic correctly. Henry took it out of mid-air.

GoTM

As a Spurs fan, it's got to be Keane.

As a neutral, it has to be Henry or Hitzelberger!

Anyone else?

Are you joking?

Ok, everyone's entitled to their oppinion.

Are you talking about the penalty where he was impeded whilst going for the header?
