I myself have found that the increase in gaming technology over the past few years has been incrediable.

Lets take a look at the past, there was once a game called 'Pong' which amazed millions, then there was Space Invaders which millions were adicted to in pubs and arcades around the world. Now to me these games in the time we are in now are very poor and would not even think of playing a game of it.

Although it seems that these games along with the old machines that ran them or in great demand and a lot (A LOT) of money is being spend to get them. Now this may surprise a few of you as well as myself but it seems people who were around my age (15) when they were around are desperate to own them once again as it holds a special place in their heart.

The only problem is there are very few around these days such as Amiga which went Bankrupt a while back (I think). I think an amiga was sold for $2000 in America along with games a while back. So hold on to your old Sega Mega Drives and Sonic games because they may be worth a small fortune in the near future, unless it is yourselfs who will be playing them in the future.

Thanks for reading SHEEPY

Spacewar was created as a 'demo' to show what a new research computer could do. They left the idea up to the programmer and thought they would get some kind of applications software, but got a space game instead!

This was then supplied with every computer system sold and people then went on to create a joypad style controller for it.

This information is courtesy of Thumb Candy, but is mostly general knowledge stuff to some gamers.

I hate to say this but nowadays graphics seem to be more important to the consumer!

I still prefer gameplay though!

Time_warp i don't mean that all graphics should be bad and the gameplay good. It's just gameplay is more important

This question, does the age make a game bad? The graphics might be awful but the gameplay is still there. AND THAT'S WHAT MATTERS!

Wasn't that game made by some scientists or as some kind of project in late 60's/early 70s?

I maybe totally wrong here...which I probably am!
