I'm looking for a piece of software that can send a soft reset to a com / usb port.
The reason being, that when I'm downloading software to my mobile, the java app to handle it doesn't close the port correctly, leaving it open. I have to physically remove the usb cable, start the app, then plug the cable back in.
I don't need to tell you this could be damaging to the phone and computer after a while.
Please, anybody came across anything of this sort?
