Seeing as how you're someone who wanders the streets of Dublin, what do you think of the smoking ban (to take force on the 29th I think it is)?

The number of gaelic speakers is now estimated to be around 56,000 which basically means its a dying language. However in order to counter the loss in interest the executive has decided it would be a good idea to have gaelic as well as english on major signposts.

I'm all for the smoking ban. I'm a non-smoker who is relishing the prospect of being able to sit in a pub for a few hours and not coming out with burning eyes or smelling like an ashtray. It is a most welcome move.
