AHEM...*points at my last post* I am doing 5 and I know LOTs of people doing 5 highers in one year too. I even know about 4 people doing 6 highers in one year doing the 6th subject at home.
I got BBCCC, resat biology and chemistry in 6th year and left with ABBBC.

Yeah, but the way I read it, was, that the standard is 5 highers.
What I meant was that yes, you may only take 3 highers, with the rest at Intermediate.

Indeed, although I'd like to point out at this point that all mine were at Higher.

Some of them where dangerously close to fails but I didn't fail one which I'm happy with considering I didn't do any revision for any of them. I just winged them. My teachers still reckon I can get 4 A's in the end although in English they say I'll get a B if I'm lucky. Hmph ohwell, I'll actually revise and put in effort for the final exams.
