I have an EL Rounded IDE Cable, but one of the connectors is just black cable with a square shaped head with two pins.

I have no connector on my PSU for this, or on my motherboard, so how do I power it?

By a cheap cold cathode, chuck out the cathode and keep the inverter. Then just bodge it together.

Yes, as I think I said, its an EL - IDE Cable.

It has a 2 pin plug that goes into a box called an "Inverter", which is connected to the PSU. Basically, I need the box, the "Inverter".

They come with cool cathodes, but I just want the Inverter, not the cathode.

Quite frankly, I have no idea what you're talking about. IDE cables don't require power, all they do is carry signals from one place to another. I have no idea what your two pin plug is all about.

Picture? Does it look like the connector could have been designed for 3 pins?
