Yes. I bought this the other day in Tesco for £3.73. It is very good so far, basically about 19th century Japan and the effect on "outsiders" telling the story of one particular clan and a few Missionaries. Even though that sounds rubbish, it is really is brilliant. The author, Takashi Matsuoka, writes superbly and possesses a very drole sense of humor, ultimately adding to the story. Also, the events taking place are very interesting and make for compelling reading. Anyone read it/ reading it?
