Children and adults around the world were left in mourning today when one of their heroes, fictional wizard Harry Potter, was found dead after a horrific early morning accident on the M11.
Harry, A star pupil at Hogwarts school for those with the magic touch, and his passenger Ron were travelling along a busy stretch of the motorway when their car veered to the left, straight into the solid concrete supports of the road above.
The front of their Ford Anglia crumpled, pushing the engine into the front of the car, where the driver’s side bore the brunt of the impact. An ambulance crew arrived shortly after, but they were unable to treat Harry due to the severity of his injuries. His friend, Ron, was alive when pulled from the burning wreck, but his situation is still critical.
Gordon Fairweather, a regular user of the M11, saw the accident. “I saw this old car come by me, and I recognised it as an Anglia, as I had one some years ago. Anyway, they were in the fast lane, and as they came to go under the bridge, the car turned sharply, right in front of me, and into the concrete. Well I was lucky to swerve out of the way, and I pulled over, and called for help. But the thing is, there didn’t seem to be any loss of control. It were like they did it on purpose.”
Police investigating the accident have turned up further evidence to suggest that Harry Potter and his young chum did indeed turn the car like that deliberately, though they don’t believe that it was a suicide attempt. It has been reported that Harry and Rodney were earlier seen leaving the train-station, and harsh words were spoken between them.
Mary O’Connor overheard them at the station. “Well they sounded like they had missed a train, Ron blamed Harry for having to go to the sweet shop, and Harry said it was Ron’s fault for having to stop to tie his laces up. It was then that Ron had a brain-wave, said they could take the old Anglia instead. They run off after that.”
It is thought that, having missed the last train to Hogwarts, Harry and Ron decided to travel by car instead. When they veered off of the road and into the concrete they were attempting to leave the motorway at junction nine and three quarters. Unfortunately this junction only exists on the northbound carriageway, and the boys were travelling south. Investigators are hoping that Ron will pull through to be able to give his own account of events.
At the time of going to press author and creator of the two boys, JK Rowling, was unavailable for comment.

Unfortunately, a member of relatively unknown charity 'Save the Gingerpubes' intervened.

However a passerby was heard shouting "Put him back in, he isn't done yet!".
Shame it doesen't happen in one of the books, eh? :D
Sadly, it's fiction.
