I saw on TV today that Brosnan is not doing another Bond film :( They are looking for a replacement for him and said that a plot could see a new agent being given the Codename of James Bond 007....so that the name kinda comes with the job when the previous Bond either dies or retires. This sounds like a cool idea and does explain the ever changing face of Bond.

So far, they've tried to keep the personalities of James Bond very similar and I'm sure in Ian Fleming's books they are all the same character.

So why spoil that?

Sounds like a Dr Who rip-off to me.

He's British, maybe Scotrish, tho' i could be wrong. Thinking about it again he could probably pull of an English accent.

Apparently Dougray Scott (the villain from M:I2) is tipped to take over from Pierce. His face certainly fits the role, but i wonder whether he can pull off the accent.

It's probably just crap talk...so you can relax I think...rethinking the idea I think it could be a bad...imagine this...Sean Connery back as an ageing retired Bond teaming up with the new Bond!! Ack!!

NO!

I don't know why, but saying it's a different person each time will just take something special away from the Bond franchise. It won't be the same.
