Last night, Channel 4. Brilliant film, worst ending ever, they really screwed the whole thing. I don't have time to say why it was so crap, it just was. Thoughts?
The ending was rubbish - the fact that it was a tad unbelievable I could have cast aside like a prostitute's bra, but the fact that it was his birthday "treat" is what infuriated me. I really love that film, but loathe the ending.
I thought it was great, ending and all, although it was a tad unbelievable. it's a rollercoaster of a film.
It could have had a great downbeat ending like Se7en, another of Fincher's movies, but alas, they opted for the happy Hollywood cheese ending. Shame, but a good thriller nonetheless.
It was crap, it didn't even make sense.
I loved the film and thought the twist was actually quite good.
