I thought I'd post this just because I've had a pretty good few weeks.
I got a job yesterday, and had induction today. It's at Tesco's, but it's money. And it was weird, not talking to the 'paper-shop man' about my job but a manager of a company, asking me when I was coming in for shifts. Even the smallest thing, like sitting in the staff cafe and talking to folk 5/10/15 years my senior, from all walks of life, is cool. A bit sad, I know, but it was a new, weird but cool experience.
And I've had prelim exams over the last fortnight. Got an 'A' in Computing and 'C' in Maths, with 3 results, Physics, Graphic Comm. and English to come. My teacher expects a 'B' or 'A' in Maths in my final exams. I'm confident I can get it, if I work hard and revise a little more.
My site relaunches as PHP / MySQL based one very soon too, and loads of people from this forum and other places have been hella-supportive in it, from start to finish back in May 03 to now. So, if you read this, and I've not said it; I appreciate your work, I really do. Hopefully, in time, I can build it up to something, er, really big! :D
Plus FFX-2 is amazing and only fuels further my desire to make my own game in the future; I'll probably post about that someday.
Right know I just feel happy. I've got good friends around me and all this cool stuff is happening. A couple of holidays this year top if off, one with many of my friends.
Ah well. This means very little to most, I know. Don't take it as me boasting, please. It's just; at last, stuff is paying off!
