Roadworks - the plague of the early 21st century. They cause hold-ups, their traffic lights keep failing, and they almost always finsih work late.
Once, I saw a sign up saying: ROADWORKS FINISHED FOUR WEEKS EARLY!!!
In fact, they should have been finished four weeks earlier than THAT. They had to set another deadline because they weren't fast enough.
Anyway, now that I have expressed my hate for these things, what's the worst delay you've ever had from Roadworks? I've had a few, including one today.
