Now we have the GBA, bigger than the Gameboy, room there surely to add in a mobile phone somewhere, or a small onscreen dialler that you could punch the numbers in with a lightpen. Then you could ring up your mates and transfer across a spare item that you picked up in one of the Mario games that your mate needs to get through a level, and when he's finished with it, he could send it back, even though he's currently on holiday on the other side of the world.
How about the X-Box. WAP access would be a great feature, as long as they upgrade the WAP that is currently used to access the full internet and not just the text based items that it currently only has access to. Bill? You reading this?
I can see consoles proving a bit tricky, because internet access is already planned through a fixed line, so WAP may be redundant here. But with the GBA? Surely with Sega already developing games for the next generation of Motorola phones, Nintendo have missed out to develop not just a good handheld, but a handheld the like of which has never been seen before, one that just doesn't play games but can be used as a communication tool as well.
Maybe we'll see it when the GBRA comes out.
The Gameboy Really Advanced...
Lower case, lower case, don't sue me.
Speaking of which...
However, with so many topics in existence now, I feel that instead of just writing my ideas from scratch, from now on I'm just going to dig up some of my old work and reword it so that it's relevant to the current situation, as with this one.
The same with my post replies in future. If someone starts a new topic on gaming that has been done before, all I need to do is go to the same topic that exists back in November and December, copy my reply, paste it and update it in the new topic, and say what I said last time.
If someone starts a topic in the FOG that has never been done before, I will be amazed, but will then go back to writing original prose again.

FM, I suggest you read "The Gameaday Depression"'s original message
Phew... it missed all of you. Ah well.
Isn't that influencing the judges decision?

Because this original topic was a Gameaday winner back in early December, but I thought it was relevant to the GBA so I dug it up again and reworked it a little.
I've also heard new GBA games will use this adaptor to allow you to get extras in games!
