So there are different game types for instance: rpgs, puzzle games, shoot em ups, sports etc. but why not make a new type of platform, i'm talking sporty shoot em up. Ok so the idea is a little cr@p (forgive my language) but they good make the ultimate game from it ultimate game that changes the way you look at them forever. Imagine a game where you are a gangster who plays pro footy but after the game walks the streets shooting people, ok so again it’s a little scratchy but it could happen in a similar.

I’m not complaining about the game platforms at the mo, but it would attract more players if the gaming world had more original ideas in the game. Its not the detail and ideas of the actual game, rather the type of game you are playing.

Goldeneye vs. perfect dark. Well these are both shooting games with a hint of stealth in, but Pd does have so much more modes. Well that’s dandy but the type of game is still the same and in all your still shooting mindless guards. I love both these games and the variety of modes e.g. playing the simulants, but a new platform could attract more buyers in the gamin market.

When I was younger, bout 6, I sent in ideas for a game to Sega. I know they don’t take them from the public but hey I was young. Anyway this game involved changing platforms every level sounds dumb but I would like to see it made. Basically you went from driving to sport to shoot’em’up, of course I am not suggesting making anything like this but a new style of gaming might keep me on the console longer than games already out and might be in need.

So what should this new gaming concept be like? Too early to tell but eventually there will be sommat dat takes the gamin world by the scruff of the neck and a kick up the a**e. I think games are being slightly rushed and aren’t as… good as hoped by all, and maybe if new game platforms are arriving, quality time will replenish the gaming kingdoms health.
I really want to see a pokemon game where you walk around the whole land that takes about 2 hours to see all of it and battle and fin pkmn. So there is the Gameboy game but i’m talking for the cube and next generation consoles in a 3-d world /environment and is like the cartoon/films.

So what will the future of gaming platforms hold/
Personally I went to saw a Galic football game once (I don’t live in Ireland) and I wanna see a game for that and i’m sure the Irish confused footballing ways will be a big hit in 10 years and a totally new craze.

You mean genres like Shoot em' ups and platformers, like the Mario's, Sonic's and Banjo's you mean.
Forgive if i'm wrong but do we really need a new wacky genre or a mix of the genres, what if we made the shoot em' up and puzzler wouldn't that be nice?
No, you need the right combination of games to get it right look at Deus Ex, or maybe perhaps a few 3D strategy games like Homeworld which uses the 3D flight sim system a bit, but no we don't need new genres when we already have a whole lot of series to carry on for a long long time.
