Yes, another Adam Sandler hit. This has to be one of the funniest yet! This film starring Adam Sandler, Bradley Whitford and Bridgette Wilson will make you laugh inside and out. A brilliant soundtrack accompanies this film with music from Culture Club, The Jackson 5 and Styx.
The Plot.
Billy Madison is the heir to the Madison Hotel millions. The only thing is, his father doesnt think that he's up to the job so he is going to pass it over to the companies vice president (who is a weasel) Eric Gordon.
When Billy finds this out, he is so shocked that his Dad is handing it over to Eric that he makes the bet of his life. He is going back to school, way back. The only thing is, all he's studied lately is drinking, pulling immature pranks and anything in (or out) of skirts. He tells his Dad that he will pass grades 1 through to 12 in 24 weeks without his fathers cheque book influencing anything. If he does this successfully then he gets to take over the family millions.
At school Billy is doing great. Eric is getting worried so he bribes the principle to say that Billy has paid him to pass the grades. Billys' Dad believes that Billy has cheated until the principle takes back the accusation.
Billy has missed out on a lot of school and Eric says because of this, he should get the company. Billys' Dad disagrees and says that Billy should have a second chance. Erik says that he will sue him for all he's got. Billys quick thinking might just work this time. He challenges Erik to an academic decathelon. One day, ten academic challenges. If he wins this, he will win his fathers respect, the family fortune and the love of his beautiful teacher Veronica.
