Sony say "not for a while yet", but what's your view?
When will the time be right for Sony?
I must stress that we don't expect any imminent price change.

Ah, the pressure of being Tony. He knows everything he posts will be carefully studied, and any probably torn to shreds.
If it wasn't for this last line, I'd expect a ton of "What do you know, Tony?" and "When Tony, when!" style posts.
Sony have finally got there stock quoter met so it is really only the begging for sony
You must remember if there is still a big demand then the price is likely not to drop for some time.
2 mounths at the minimum i would say
SonicRav
The HD/broadband add-on is due for release here later this year - I think a price reduction will happen then, with a standard PS2 on sale for £199 and a combined PS2/HD combination for £299.
Sounds fair to me!

Yeah - a friend of mine tried this. Got his PS2, the charge was £299.99, and now they won't speak to him.
2nd Price drop will be 30th November

OR, they could wait 'til something like GT3 is out, and bundle that together at the new low price. That would seem most sensible to me as GT3 seems to be one of the titles PS2 owners are banking on.
