For a writing / directing debut its not bad (well, apart from it being basically the orginal "Texas Chainsaw Massacre")
Quite surreal by the end of it, and some great and imaginative shots in it.
The sequence that made me sit up most was when the cop is made to kneel, and the camera slowly pulls away. Cue a longer pause than you think, and the amazing gunshot noise, and whet looks like the bullet deflecting through the cops head.
The "Captain Spalding" charatcer is damn creepy too, although I have a phobia of clowns, so thats almost guaranteed.
Light entertainment, and a promising start for Rob Zombie.
