Sunday night watching another live ghost hunt on a channel for middle-aged housewives. Something quite interesting happened though. Doing the usual bit of stumbling around a room in the dark, the medium calling for his invisible friend who tells hi where all the ghosties are, when all of a sudden this spoon comes out of nowhere, just missing the host woman (Yvette Fielding). Now the premise for the show is that it is a serious ghost hunt, with a serious, professional medium. So when the sceptic they hired questioned the incident, she had a go at him, live on tele!
Then there was the spoon itself. As soon as it had gone across the room, the medium exclaimed "It's a spoon.", then the crew member that picked it up came out with "It's an old spoon!". I almost wet myself, it was hilarious. Thinking it was more ghostly because it was "an old spoon". I really need to find something better to do with my time.
