Don't know wether you could call this a hint, but if you are on the boat in Sea Haven going to pick up Bettys plane, and those gun boats come out to get you, if you sink all of them except one, then shoot the gun boat's turret so he cant shoot you, the watch towers which you come to next will not shoot you and it will be easier, I did this and was waiting for the next onslaught but nothing happened and i had a peacefull 30 seconds to look at the scenery!!! :)
