Now we all know that Sony have done extreemly well over the last 6 years, they have made a new name for a new audience of gamers. They used to be dedicated to stereos and music equipement like headphones, etc, etc, etc. millions of people bought this system but even though I own a N64 I still love this system but every penny of Sony's success is owed to their excellent developers for making some of the most played games. Many PSX owners deny that this console was made by Nintendo but whatever the true story was it made a huge wave of money which flowed into Sony's chairman's wallet! I played the system the other day and wondered why I waited so long for my precious N64, when I played games like Wu-Tang, taste the pain, oh man, this is got to be the best game to own if your a fan of Wu-Tang!! something the N64 never achieved was the FMVs or video clips, every N64 owner says that N64 are better but that has got to be your opinion. I have read so many of these letters in these forums and they all contain atleast one person saying his/her console is much better, but they have their own strong points and are much better for it, if they had no originality then there would be no competition really.
Before the PSX was bought out I played on my Amiga 500, I thought it was the best thing since sliced bread, but I was proven wrong, Amiga's last attempt for money was spat back at them because it was such a crap attempt compared to the PSX. Nintendo had an excellent past, with their nes, snes and gameboy but they bought their N64 out too late! many of the people waiting for the console had already bought the Playstation, the playstation was put on the market over a year before the N64 which was the best move they had made in their console career! leaving Nintnendo to pick up the last few devoted Nintendo owners, like myself.
Sony then made their own version of the playstation, the PSX2, wow what a title, I'm sure that some genius got paid a lot of money to think of such an imaginitive name as that. this console still only has two controller ports like the original whereas other systems have shown that four play is much better, I don't know why they only made a few four player games for the playstation, the PS2 has got a huge waiting list even though it is still 3 months away from entering our lives!! this is phenomanel as no console has ever had such a big list of people so eager to get this console. The PS2 is also the first to use the new idea of DVD drives in their systems. They really have got the right idea, andf know excacitally what they are doing! I won't buy the pS2 because I am still a loyal Nintnendo owner so I will buy the Dolphin, but many people have already paid for the PS2 and will be sitting next to their doors waiting for it's arrival.
If you read all that then reply, I want to know what you think, whether Sony should make it, or whether they had their one shot glory already and their PS2 will be a complete faliure!
