Hi, didn't take me long to come back, but I had to share this nugget of info. He's currently directing and filming a sitcom for Channel 4, starring TvGoHome.com's Nathan Barley - how good is that! I hope they keep the original title (for those not in the know, it's a fictional website-based soap called "C*nt" < without the *). Not sure who will be playing Mr Barley, but with Morris at the helm, it's bound to be funny, right? Please say yes.

Anyone read his weekly TV rant in the Guardian? Brooker, that is, not Morris.

Watch a real war from a glass-bottomed helicopter! Better than DVD!

From the war edition:

1:30 Baghdad Comedown

Uninterrupted footage from the Ministry Of Information roofcam backed with chilled beats from Autechre, The Orb, Future Sound Of London, Scanner, System 7 and The Conet Project.

and this makes me crack up without fail!

I particularly like the 'Please Come To Dunstable' one!

It dropped in quality a little near the end, but damn, Brooker is a genius.

Did you read his fantastic SuperKaylo when it was online?

Actually, since today is Friday, it's either on tonight or I've missed it.

The thing on Warp was My Wrongs #some big number. It's good, but short. I think the DVD costs about seven quid.

There's some other sitcom starting this week, written by a guy who collaborated on Brass Eye. I can't remember what it's called but it was originally on BBC3 so I guess it'll be on BBC2.

I think Chris Morris got together with Aphex Twin and the Warp crew and did a short film for the label. Want to catch hold of that at some point. Or I COULD be mistaken. I know that Morris uses alot of Aphex tracks on his sketches.

All sounds good. "C" was one of the highlights of TVgoHome. It seems a bit strange that Morris will be working with Charlie Brooker (who started out as a cartoonist for "Oink" magazine trivia fans) but I'm looking forward to seeing the result.
