Finally they have arrived!!!
Seas of top quality PS2 games are now on the shelves, and the gamers are happy.
The console is now in its 5th month of release, and it's only now that gamers can say that there are plenty of quality titles to choose from.
Of the release games there were a couple of real gems, but it could easily be said that a large chunk of the games were disappointing.
New releases were thin on the ground, as distributors wanted the console to have a decent user base before releasing their games.
Now there are machines available, and being sold te distributors have seen sense and got some quality games out.
Starfighter is a game that will sell by the bucketload for a simple reason: Star Wars. ZOE too will sell a truckload, simply because of the MGS2 demo. ZOE in itself is apparently a very good game, but the sign of things to come that is Metal Gear Solid 2 is truely mind ripping!!!
Looking into the future theres MGS2, Gran Turismo 3 FF X, to name just 3 games that should be AAA titles. Any PS2 owners that were doubtful over whether they'd made the right choice in there console will surely be pleased now!
Myself, Ive only just got a PSX (for £15) so I think I get some games for that to keep me happy (+ theres life in my N64 yet) until the PS2 comes down in price!!!
So all you worried gamers must be saying a big PS phew! When you next go to buy a game, you'll be spoilt for choice!
