What did you think of it?
It was probably ages ago, but I just glanced up at my copy on a shelf the fact that you'd been reading it seemed to pop into my head.
Actually, anyone else read it?
Thought it was rather good indeed. Oh, and don't watch the film version.
Please.
All I'll say, is that it stars Matthew Modine.
Oh God.
haven't read the book- can't comment.
I really will.
heez my idol!!!11
Also included in the collection, that I have :
I am Legend, by Richard Matheson
Starmaker, by Olaf Stapledon
Gateway, by Frederik Pohl
The Forever War, by Joe Haldeman
A Scanner Darkly, by Philip K. Dick
Ubik, by Philip K. Dick
The Lathe of Heaven, by Ursula Le Guin
The Fifth Head of Cerberus, by Gene Wolfe
Last and First Men, by Olaf Stapledon
I strongly recommend all of these books, except maybe 'the fifth head of cerberus, which is a little vague and didn't appeal to me so much.
The novels by Olaf Stapledon are truly remarkable - no other books will come close to testing your imagination nearly as much as these do. Philip K. Dick is a genius, he has the ability to bend your mind better than any other author. The rest of those I mentioned are all very good indeed, in particular I am Legend.

For some reason, I loved it when it first came out. But I saw it again recently, and you're not really missing much.
The Lawnmower Man is one of those films I've never gotten round to seeing.
he doesn't then return to being stupid like in FFA but it seems very similar to me.
Do you suppose that 'the lawnmower man' was based on it in a way?
