GNVQ are more or less trade qualifications. I'm currently studying for 9 GCSEs at the moment, and I've got modular exams coming up. It's a bit of a pain in the @rse.

GCSE's are good because you learn much more varied stuff. Science, English etc etc will come in handy one day.

Are you talking about doing an GNVQ as well as other GCSE's?

Personally GCSE's all the way..if you want to go university they will come in handy!

My school has a sixth-form colledge and i can get an A-level there and thet say i can get if i do GNVQ aswell as GCSE

GNVQ... Generally Not Very Quick.

GCSEs are considered better.

Yeah but to do a Computing AS level you have to pass the GCSE exam, then you can do your A levels or whatever in college, you cant do A levels in college if you choose GNVQ.

IT at GCSE level doesn't cover programming.
You'll need to do a Computing AS level for that. Though I'm sure there are other ways.
