But a rare treat for me- what I have every year- is a savory pancake. Stick your lemon jif bottle where the sun doesn’t shine. Toss your chocolate sauce out of the window. Savory pancakes are the best.
Gravy is the stuff I have on mine. Beef gravy mainly. Pour some gravy in the middle of your cake, fold it over cut it up, and then eat it. What’s wrong with that?
And before you start moaning, let me just tell you that Pancakes are fried Yorkshire puddings. And what do you have on your Yorkshire puddings? Normal people have gravy- not syrup.
So maybe the brave people in the audience today would like to step up, and try this juicy, gravy pancake. In fact, have a few, fill your boots, and for after’s, have a sweet pancake.
Does anyone else like unusual toppings?
