Because everyone has cottoned onto the fact that manufactured boy bands are raping the masses for money by pumping out substandard bland-alike products all the time. After realising that their clean cut image bands can't follow where Westlife lead, what do they do? Stick out a boy band in the guise of a rock band.
They write their own stuff. Whoo hoo. Not quite up in the leagues of Radiohead or Coldplay are they really?
Last time I heard they were getting round to learning to play their instruments so they can actually live up to the hype that their PR machine generates. WONDERFUL, we get a LOAD of miming pop artists to be replaced by ones that might be able to sing, but have to mime all their instrument work.
