I know I need the starter kit thing, but how do I hook it to broadband?

Same here, although I'll have to give Timesplitters 3 a shot, since I have it.
There's plenty of good live games.
But yeah you need a Bridge, a little on the expensive side they are too.
I do play online sometimes still. Just, meh.
But yeah, a bridge is the way to go, makes the Xbox an extra component of the network that just takes information rather than being a server, or summat like that.
*shrugs*
There aren't enough really good Xbox Live games around to make it worth adopting so late. Also the amount of annoying kiddies you get on Live is off the scale these days.
Hopefully Microsoft will concentrate more on the games for Xbox 2 and less on the "SUPER NEW WAY TO TALK TO YOUZ BUDDIEZ ONLINE AND SEND YAR CLAN DETAILZ"
And I didn't ask if people thought it was worth it now did I?
But no, it's really not worth it.
