Today I bought a multi-tap for the PS2.
Great, I thought, now I can join the kids in a few multi player games and give them a good thrashing, all in the name of fun I add.
Out comes Tekken and after getting a rather good nose bleed off them we go to play Smackdown. This is where they get a good smacking now, I say to myself.
What happens------ nothing.
Having not read the instructions, as you do, before you plug it in, I now read said instructions and find that you cannot play Play Station1 multi-player games through it.
So, " Is there a way that we can play PS1 multi games through the PS2?.

PS1 games ONLY work on PS1 Multi tap.
PS2 games ONLY work on PS2 Multi tap.

So you should be able to play the PS1 games on the PS2 but you will need to get a PS1 multi tap.

The PS2 is not backwards compatible with the PS1 multi-tap.

Man, that's a bummer!
Thought you might have been able to use the PS1 multi-tap.
