If I remember rightly from what I was taught less than a year ago ... and I'm sure I do then evolution basically revolves around survival of the fittest.
Or survivial of those best suited to a change in the environment or something.

But that just doesn't happen anymore.
For a lot of reasons.

If someone's weak, you don't just leave them to die. They just get beaten up in school during the day, then come home and get fixed up.

It's called medicine.
Someone gets ill, we make them better, so everyone survives - not just the fittest.

And we'll never be forced into evolution by a change in the environment, or a new species being introduced to kill us all.

Because we've got technology to change the root of the problem, we don't change ourselves to suit problem.

The only way we'd evolve from now on it for purposes of fun.
Like, I want a tail.
And, I want more legs.
Although that's obviously not going to happen. Because it takes a bit longer than that.

But you get what I mean - there's no longer any reason to evolve.
Talk amongst yourselves.

In your haste to correct him, you forgot that the word isn't actually spelled with a "us" but a "is," making your plural incorrect.

Its funny how this topic has changed from discussing the course of evolution to getting whale penusis and hanging them on peoples walls.

Life chat (intellingent discussion) indeed.

A deer head and a blue whale penis aren’t quite the same though.
I would of course grow it on my head, cut it off at the appropriate time, and sell it to a Japanese collector of modern art.

Attached to you, or as some sort of trophy to hang on the wall? Like a deer head, you'd have to mount it on a shieldesque plaque first, but it'd be a damn impressive trophy.

Evolution isn’t the same thing as having medicine and central heating, dearest.

We are evolving!

100 years ago the life expectancy was much much lower than todays. This is because we have the medicine and technology and knowledge to make our lives last longer. Before we all had central heating back in the ice age many people died of hypothermia (Hypothermia occurs when your body's control mechanisms fail to maintain a normal body temperature for people like El Robin and Cubist) but now those people at risk of Hypothermia are older adults, children, people who are mentally ill or have Alzheimer's disease and lose their judgment about when to seek shelter, and people who are intoxicated, homeless or caught in cold weather because their vehicle has broken down.

Anyways..we are evolving in the fact that we have a longer life expectancy! I'd explain more but i'm tired and can't be bothered but most of you should know where this is heading!
