Its tired, give it a rest and it will be as light as the rear end of a pig. It happened to me but i soon sorted it out.

Yeah, its broken. I'm using the downstairs one now. Hmph.
It's dust inside getting really hot and momentarily vaporising, taking with it tiny amounts of solder from the circuit board. The solder immediately cools and lands back in place.
