Hi there...I'm traveling to Euro2004 with 4 friends and we have tickets to the first three Italy games. We are trying to find a place to stay on the nights we have games (the 14th, 18th and 22nd of June) in Guimaraes and Porto (first and last game in Guimaraes and the middle one in Porto). Looking online hasn't been successful as most hotels/pousadas require multi-day stays, which we don't want to do. Anybody have any good tips on finding single-night accomodations in Portugal during the Euro2004? Also, we are leaving on the 27th of June and would love to sell our tickets (4 total) for the remainder of the tournament if anybody is interested, let me know! Thanks, 5 Americans Looking for a Place to Crash....

To what?

Mine were free.

Ah, the pleasures of knowing someone who is an accountant for some serie A club.

I've got so many Italian strips from them.

And now these tickets!

Life is good...

Cool.

I would. But getting to Portugal would be impossible without paying loads more.

Yes, but if he's managed to reserve them it may well be worth it, seeing as these tickets are hard to get hold of.

However, £70 seems a slight bit steep...
