I was thinking, i prefer watching somebody reviewing a product rather than reading a review. So, is their a possibility that you could create a thread, and post a youtube link to your video review? Or even perhaps allowing people to embed youtube videos into a thread, and watch directly? Just a suggestion, but personally, i like the idea! :D

Indeed. I will consider and pass onto "TPTB".

There are some good video reviews and Amazon recently started allowing video reviews of their items too, so it's catching on fast.

However, I'm guessing there might be some bandwidth issues if Freeola started hosting their own videos.

I think 10 minutes on youtube watching some user video reviews will convince any sane person this isnt a good idea. :)

Everyone wins ;D

The reviewer can do a video review, which adds alot more versatility to compiling a review (ie. game clips, songs)

Freeola get free advertising, and if the reviewer gets a following, even better. (Also, if a video review is uploaded to youtube, not only put a freeola watermark in the corner, but even an intro like "in association with freeola" or whatnot? Maybe even a link in the description?)

The community wins as they can watch the review :D

I see what you mean. Seemed like a good idea, but we're not here to help Youtube after all ;D Trying to think of other ways round it. A "Freeola Player"? xD I go on another site called 'Bragster' (a dare site) and they let you upload videos to their site, or through youtube (either way), but they put a bragster stamp in the bottom right corner to help adveritising for their own site. Possibility perhaps?

You could do but we would not consider them Award worthy. We want content on the site, and a link to youtube does us no favours really :S

But if you want to add a video and write out the script..... Different matter.

It would be harder for people to nick reviews.Unless of course they spoke in an American accent and there initials are I.G.N. or something ?.
