Hi there,

Im making a new game. Nothing fancy probably 2-D.

What would you say that makes a good game And what sort of game do you like.

Just want to find out so i dont make a game that nobody would like. (ive done it before).

I might bring back some classics like Space Invaders or Sonic

DONT DO A BASIC GAME!
My Uncle did a great 2d game, it was slightly like Zelda ( Obviously not as good ) but if you just take your time and put alot of detail in it your game could become very popular. Personally i think you should do a RPG game and make t have a very interesting storyline, if you cant think of a good storyline get Final Fantasy 7, that should give you some good ideas.Hope this helped you.

And don't even attempt making games yourself next week, or you'll get discs that look, smell and taste suspiciously like pancakes.

Mine looked like a hibernation chamber for a tortoise.

I've tried making a game myself many times. And every bloody time it turns out looking like freakin' Tracy Island!!

Hmph my VB didnt have the C++ options.
