I also have a question, shall I get the Special Edition version in September or get the full Star Wars saga DVD expected for 2007 which will have all six films (it might not be the original trilogy though :()

hang on a minute the altered old trilogy is going to be the one released on DVD? But I dont want that version. It sucked

I would say "Wait 'til he's finished episode 3", but they can finish it on someone's PC.

George Lucas has said many times that he will never allow the original versions of episodes 4, 5 and 6 to be released in any form again.
He also said that if he doesn't do episodes 7, 8 or 9 then no-one else will be able to, either.

The orginal Star Wars films on DVD, I think it would be unlikely. It seems Lucas would rather you watch what he considers the perfect version of the films, adding unnessesary content. I'm dreading what he may have put into the Special Edition for september.

The orginal Star Wars films on DVD, I think it would be unlikely. It seems Lucas would rather you watch what he considers the perfect version of the films, adding unnessesary content. I'm dreading what he may have put into the Special Edition for september.
No, that's the Special Edition version. It's a different thing.
Obviously you haven't heard the news that the orginal Trilogy is on it's way to DVD. Out this September.
