"Cons and Rip offs - Are you sick of being conned?"

Ok, how many cons have you seen? How many things have you paid for and found out there was somthing wrong with the thing? How many times have you read the guide lines on the net and they said there's nothing to loose, nothing to pay and so on. But you found out there was a catch.

If so, then post all the companies/ web addresses that have conned you so we can name and shame all those rip offs. Name the company, why they ripped you off and a rating out of ten (ten being extreamly dogey)

Let's start:

I don't think that I've ever really been conned, but I have bought a lot of crap that didn't turn out to work very well. The worst of the lot was Total Immersion Racing: It didn't work at all on my PC.

Luckily, it was a GAD. :)

I made £60 selling links to cons on the internet on eBay.

I don't have any company names to hand, but I've seen loads. I've never been tricked though - I always look at the smallprint and/or read up on the company/offer if it seems to good to be true.

I usually leave when they say "No Catch!"

It's funny, because hundreds of idio...ahem...people still get tricked by these scams!
