"The Vines - Winning Days"

you know that big rock song that sounds like somebody put some Beatles vocals over the top? that's the new vines single, Drive. And it's ace. And it's just like the rest of this album - not as in the songs are all the same (JET; even though I love them, GOD DARN one fast song and one slow song done six times does not make a great CD), but all the songs are nineties and naughties pop-garage-rock with floaty beatles vocals over the top, and it's very very nice and lovely at times (title track) and very very cool in places (she's got something to say).

Check it out, better than the first album, and better than Room On Fire too.

1st album is ok so i'll probably get this.

I heard 'f**k the world' at a friends the other day, sounded good.

I thoroughly enjoyed the first - I didn't think Winning Days was out until March?
As for JET, I wouldn't have them any other way. I went to see them on Tuesday and they were brilliant.
