Football has now become a stupid phase.I mean what do you see in it.I know I am a girl and do not see what you men see in it but at the end of the day it's just a silly little game. You have posted thousands of posts about it so just tell me what you see in it.

Because Rugby's NOT very popular?

Now, this wouldn't, by any chance, have anything to do with England's long-awaited triumph in the World Cup last-year; leading to the nighthood of Clive Woodward and more media coverage on the sport than ever before, would it??

No. ``Of course not´´...

If you like Jonny Wilkinson so-much, I bet, being a typical woman, you'll only have to look again at David Beckham to change your tune! :P

Rugby, like wrestling, is a gay sport. Lots of gripping each other and all that.

Most of them are not obese (don't know what kind of rugby you've seen) and I wouldn't mind getting to grips with several of them. As for rolling in the mud with them, well I would be able to...

Rugby is guff. Why the hell would anyone want to roll about in mud with a bunch of sweaty obese gorillas?

Football is skillful, uses tactics, and is easily the most enjoyable sport to both play and watch.

Great reasoning there, Virtuoso.

And what's so great about getting muddy anyway? Is it some sort of fetish? And anyway, you do get very muddy playing at the lower end of the football pyramid. Shrewsbury Town's pitch is almost comparable to a ploughed field.
