I have just got a new computer the specs are:
AMD AthlonXP 2200+
256MB Ram
Windows XP Professional.
I updated from Home Edition to Professional today and since my computer has been randomly crashing and frequently going into BSOD.
I have only had the computer 3 days.
Do you know why it might be playing up? The motherboard make is:
K7VTA3
Thanks,
James
Thankyou.

This is a memory error, normally caused through a driver trying to access bits of memory that it isn't allowed to.
What was the file name that was also on that blue screen? If you have the filename, then do a search for it, to find out what the driver is for. Then once you know what it is used for, you can take it out and then reinstall it.
But this is not likely.
